535 bookings in seven weeks. Then all six branches.
Ducky Cutz is a walk-in barbershop group in Phuket. Beem's front desk went live on one branch on 20 June 2026; the owner extended it to the rest.
The problem
Ducky Cutz runs on walk-ins and phone bookings, seven chairs at its Phuket Town branch. When every barber is mid-cut the phone rings out, and a missed call is a customer who rings the next shop instead. After hours the line is dead.
The shop serves Thai locals, expats and Russian tourists, so even an answered call can hit a language wall. And nothing recorded who called, what they wanted, or whether they ever booked.
What we built
An AI front desk that answers the phone and the shop's messages and books straight into the shop's calendar. It picks up the caller's language from the first sentence, then runs the whole booking itself: which barber, which slot, how many people, returning-caller recognition by phone number, and one spoken confirmation.
It reads live availability across the full day so it never double-books, and writes special requests as notes the barber sees on arrival. Staff log walk-ins from their own phones into the same calendar, so the shop has one view of every booking, whoever made it.
The numbers
In its first seven weeks live at Phuket Town the system handled 535 bookings. 105 of those were booked end to end by the AI — 71 by voice and 34 by chat — with another 56 taken by customers on the self-serve form.
It answered 169+ calls at an average of 76 seconds each. Thai dominated the calls; English and Russian are answered on the same line whenever they come.
Those are one branch's numbers. The front desk now runs across all six.
How these figures were measured
Figures measured 20 June to 7 August 2026 from the shop's own calendar and call log. Counts include our own test traffic, and call totals exclude 20 June to 2 July, which the telephony provider purged before logging began.

“It cut our costs and freed the team from phone and admin work. We are making more, and we move a lot faster than before.”
